Ok I now this is sorta off topic, but cleaning bugs off the front is a major maintenace item for me. Anyway found a product called Bugs Begone. Spray it on and wait about a minute then with your wash mit just wipe them off. It is sometimes amazing how little things can bring such joy. |

Hey Gary...next trip out try spraying Pledge Furniture Poilsh on the front end. When you get back just wipe the bugz off! Really!!! Use it on the windshield too. It helps fill the little pit marks and reduces glare. Won't build up, and won't yellow or stain the glass, paint or aluminum. Been using it on my motorcycle visors, expensive airplane windshields, and my 'ole GMC 4905 for years. It even makes messy Florida Love Bugs easy to get off. Cheers...JJ |

JJ, how do the wipers work during a rain with the Pledge on the windshield? Some compounds really screw up the wiper action. Richard |

I dunno, ...I've never driven it in the rain, BUT it acts like Rain-X on my airplane windshield. No streaks or bugz at 200 MPH! ...JJ |

OK JJ. Thats what I wanted to know. I love Rain-X and use it all the time. I suspect Pledge is much less expensive. Richard |
