Usually there is no faster way to get a discussion started than wondering what pipes to use. From galvanized with threads , to sweat copper tubing {MY WAY} to flaired copper tubing {MY WAY if I had more ca$h} to rubber or plastic hose , to the home style plastic tubing that has been the subject of law suits for 2 decades { but its claimed can lightly freeze},, the discussion is endless. Now there is a new way {I never tried } from the boat folks. AS this is a very high end market, also with high G loads the new pipe system should work fine. AS everything is push together, the system should have the repairability of flaired copper tubing , but without the cost , or skill to make a good flair being needed. www.whalepumps.com They call it Quick Connect, and it looks like a one hand job. Yes, high end is right. Fred, can you re-use the fittings, or is my source correct that once pipe is pressed into it you can't get it out and re-use the fitting? ...JJ |

The advertisements stress the ease of repair. This is just a suggestion for folks , although the same fittings are in our reverse osmosis water filter, and can be done and un done easily with one hand. These seal with 2 O rings so damage should be easy to repair. FAST FRED |
