You might want one of the SONALERT 12-24 vdc models, They have one with a chime sound. The other thought is an auto salvage yard. Grab one of the "chimes" used in a late model car or van for seatbelt or headlight warnings. My Ford Aerostar chime sounds like a doorbell so one of those might work. Oh I bought one at a radio shack store a while back that ran on 5 to 14 volts also. |

"I'm considering using the bus's original chime." We kept that as an emergency comm device. If the bride is in back and starts rapid short rings , its Emergency pull over time. Just a ding or two means slow down on corners , the galley is unlocked . FAST FRED |

Jeeze Dave, one of the things I like the most about my bus is it doesn't have any of those @)(&*$*&%^@^(* chimes like the cars, gas pumps, elevators, phones, etc. Fred, we have a different system. I DON"T PULL OVER except for fuel. And making things go crash in the kitchen is my way of making her clean up the kitchen! And when the dogs slide forward & hit the dash, that's a panic stop caused by some 17 year old male Honda low rider driver who tried to commit suicide by driving between the front bumper & front tire while changing lanes. While I keep a sharp eye peeled for them, those aren't my fault. |
