Hello all,

I'm just now getting around to posting some pics of my Colorado conversion project. I've been working on it for 2 1/2 years, and have more early conversion photos on an old hard drive I will recover and post as soon as possible.
They are in no particular order, but I'll do something about that as soon as I figure out how.

I know some on this board will thumb their noses at anyone taking the time and effort to convert a skoolie, but having recently inherited anough money to buy the Maddencruiser several times over, I still stand by my decision to convert a
Thomas pusher.

Nice job, thanks for sharing. What part of Co do you live in? I am near Littleton, we should meet up.

Nice cabinet work. I'm working on my cabinets as well. It is definitely NOT my specialty, but it's coming out OK.

Nice work Jay. That all-rite door is that a stock house metal insulated house door with a dead bolt??

My thanks to all for your kind words. However, if I had known before starting this project just how much work it reallly is to convert from scratch, I might not have taken it on.
But, being this close to the finish, I suppose it's all been worth it.

Mike (Busone) I'm in Calhan, midway between Limon and Springs.

Paul (Paso_1) The All-Rite door came from All-Rite.com. They will build and ship your door, including any options, in 48 hours. Set up a business account with them before ordering anything...they will charge you retail PLUS, if you don't have an account.
My particular door has a locking RV handle, and 2 deadbolts. I framed the door with 1/8 SS angle, and feel pretty good about it's security. About $450

For as long as I've been looking at busses I've liked looking at the creativity some have demonstrated with interiors of skoolies. Seems like a platform for more different kinds of ideas than coaches, from which I always get neat ideas.

PS: Feel free to offload some of those $$$ dollars you could have spent on a Maddencruiser and send this way.
