To add to what Doug shared: PD4104-3252 was part of a 124-bus order placed by Western Greyhound Lines, based in San Francisco, CA. It was delivered new in late March or early April of 1958 as fleet number P-2680. Back then, it probably ran all over the WGL's west coast service area, at least thru it's first 5 years with 'Hound. After that point, it was most likely used as second sections or locals, as the 4106s, 4107s and MCIs infiltrated the fleet. As was Greyhound's policy at the time, it probably was sold after the summer season of 1968. At least up until that point, it received excellent maintenance - during that period of time, GLI's PM program was the envy of most transportation companies. Not so today, however. . . Anyway, you can truthfully tell folk that you own a "Jen-U-Wine Ex-Greyhound Bus". HTH, RJ PD4106-2784 Fresno CA |

Thank you for the quick response. After it was retired it was used for a charter to ski resorts in Washington for a short time. The right front break smoked it was then taken out of service and then sold to the person I purchased it from. Thanks JRB |
