I just removed the skin off my entry door. Want to clean, sand and paint before building new door. Can anyone tell me what to use to remove Sikaflex, or simlar substance used to stick skin to frame |

I recently had a visit with Fred Hobe, Head man at North Florida Bus Conversions.He mentioned that a heat gun and scraper will soften and remove this adhesive. Hope this info helps. |

Your local boat shop can get a spray that will break down this style adhesive.
Its usually used to remove stuff bedded with 3M -5200 a marine product , but seems to kill them all.
