I am looking for someone who offers bus convesion financing. I am having a hard time finding someone who knows what my conversion is worth.

Apparently it is not built yet since you seek financing to construct it. That makes it pretty hard for someone to calculate a reasonable value of a finished product. From what I know and what I have heard, financing on a self-built unit is non-existant, unless u have a rich uncle.
As for an appraisal, there are several around the country that will do a professional and fair appraisal once it is completed. Don't be surprised if it comes in at less value than your investment. Even the factory produced units lose about 30% once they become 1 owner units. |

If you own your house, you might do a home equity loan. You can then deduct the interest which you might not be able to do, financing the conversion directly.
