What strikes me odd, is that both Chris and Monaco Coach use uunet for a server/isp. Waaazup? |

Besides that, I don't see any die cast models of buses, just monaco motorhomes... Someone doing a little advertising here? Ross |

I'm not advertising or supporting Monaco, I've just never seen models of busses before and thought this was intersting. I would rather see die-cast buses, but have never seen one available. Sorry if it seemed like an inappropriate post. |

There's tons of scale model buses out there, Chris! The older ones made by Tootsie-toy and Matchbox are somewhat "collectible" and can bring fairly good prices. |

Chris, I have plastic models of my bus at 1:50 scale (MCI 102A3). I have several other models also. An untrimed (graphics) model is $15.00. Trimed models are more. Metal ones more yet. Check out: http://www.royalcoachbuses.com/Search.bok?category=Untrimmed+buses They have lots of other bus related stuff. Have them send you a catalog. Chuck Newman Oroville, CA |

The Prevost models come with a special plastic mounting. It looks like a section of a breakdown lane. (EH) |

Gary, it isn't broke-- you just let it run out of oil. And JTNG, any bus that doesn't have preventive maintenance performed will fit on that mounting. The only time I have been on the side of the road is when a throttle return spring broke on my MCI. Two minutes with a pair of pliers to make a new loop and I was gone. I really like working on my bus at home instead of in the breakdown lane. Preventive maintenance does pay off. Jim |
