Hi guys, anybody know where to find a diagram of the floor ducts and ac vent system for an 82 mc9. I don't see them in the manual, is there ducting somewhere in the wall also or just the floor ductwork, any help would really be appreciated. thanks in advance Steve and Cindi |

The ducting in the wall is alongside of the dimpled aluminum panels behind the finish panels. This brings the air up to the bottom of the windows where it is released to the rest of the bus. There are return and supply ducts in the floor. All floor ducts run down the center of the bus in the top half of the "backbone" that runs down the center of the bay ceilings. The ducts branch off from that to two supplies in the front 1/3 of the bus and 4 returns over the drive and tag axle area. A careful examination of the parts book will give some detail. If you can get ahold of the MC-9 advertising brochure, it shows it clearly. Most conversion companies remove or don't order full bus heat and air since the conversion will have systems that can be used over the road as well as parked. Full bus air for an MC-9 can be the biggest $$$ maintenance item you have. Even with fuel at $2.45/gal! Jim |
