Most likely II. It is before intro of III. DDECI used a separate ECM (Electronic Control Module) that is up front or in a compartment away from the engine, with a harness running from it to the engine EDU (Electronic Distributor Unit). The units are combined on the DDEC II and mounted atop the engine, over the governor area of a MUI engine (top, front, center). It is simply called the ECM starting w/DDECII, and has expanded sensor capabilities, along with PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) of all ports to it. Should have 5 sealed electrical harnesses coming out the side of it. |

Should be DDEC 2. If you hook up a scan tool, it will identify it. Send e-mail if you need more info or pics. Sammy |

Randy, After you find out what model you have, it is highly recommended you get manuals for it plus a scanner. Both can be had reasonably on eBay and will save you many bucks over the years. Chuck Newman Oroville, CA |
