I have 2 lifeline batterys and tring to set my trace inv. 3624 on 24 v batterys are 255 amp ea. so setting the charge rate do I set for 255 or 500 thanks Jerry

Campbell,
Set it for 255. The 24 volt battery is 255 amp hour at 24 volts. Each battery is 255 at 12 volts. If you were running a 12 volt inverter and had these same batterys connected in parallel you'd use the 500 amp setup.
