i am thinking about adding a aux alternator and driving it off of the cam shaft.What is the speed of the cam shaft as compared to the crankshaft,so tha i can get the right pulley size.

same as engine rpm..get the smallest pulley you can find for the alt.and use small welding cable to go to batterys

No TD, unless they built some 4 stroke 8V71s, you weren't guessing.

If they DID make 4 stroke 8V71s, I gotta have me one.
