According to this: http://www.geocities.com/buslist/Delivery/PD4104/pd4104_1.html you have a Hound! Overland Greyhound lines. Delivered 1953. RJ or RC might be able to provide more detail for you. They are the Pros at this bus history business. Enjoy your bus! BB |

Bill, you might double-check that VIN. If it's a '57, maybe you just left of the last number in your post and it's a 277#. BB |

to anyone who can help; We recently bought a pd4104-4558 1960model. it is an excelent candidate for conversion and we would greatly apreciate any history on this old bus we can get. we believe it to be an old greyhound, but unsure of any other info. thanks Steppentex |

Steppentex - PD4104-4558 was delivered new in March of 1960 as fleet number C-2380 to Central-Southwestern Greyhound Lines, based out of Minneapolis, MN. So, yes, you can honestly tell folk you have a "Jen-U-Wine" ex-Greyhound. FYI, back in those days, Greyhound had an excellent preventative maintenance program, often considered the envy of the transportation industry. They also had a policy of replacing 10% of their fleet every year, so your coach probably stayed in 'Hound's fleet until after the summer season of 1970 or so. From there, tracking the ownership becomes more of a challenge. HTH, RJ PD4106-2784 Fresno CA |
