after 18 months of owning "the man show", a 1954 tdh5105, ive finally got some space to do the interior remodel... the previous owner did a horrible job in the interior and ive got it all ripped out... ive been drawing floor plans and the streetside emergency exit door hits right where the shower is planned.... has anybody blocked off the door completely???? it would be kinda nice to have the emergency exit, just in case... but so far, my floorplan doesn't include the funtional door....moving the bath area to the other side (curbside doesn't work, because the way the windows have been installed by a previous convertor....the skin job on this old coach had to have been done by an aircraft mechanic... best buck-rivet job i've ever seen....any ideas????

An open air shower! Nice touch. It can double as a urinal
also, depending where you're parked.

I'd leave it where it is. Cut a section to be used as an emergency
door, in whatever you're using for the surround. Some weather
seal should work well, if it's not in the direct water spray. Just
overlap it about an inch...

It'd be a shame to lose the bus's original design, wouldn't it?

as big as you are Jim...I'm sure you could get out of any part of that bus without a door...block it off & put your shower where you want it...
