Can I pull the axels out by the wheels? Do I need a puller for the axel cover? How much does the pumpkin weigh? Anyone know of a company in San Diego who can "set" it up? I have the tools, just need the directions. Also some gears- ratio is 3.55 model 155OX

Make and model of bus would be helpful. . .

Yes, you can pull the axles out by the wheels.

Shouldn't need a puller for the axle cover, unbolt. May have to persuade it with a hammer, etc.

Pumpkin weighs between 150-300 lbs.

Depends on what you have, but certain axles have a couple of threaded holes to put the cover bolts in to "push" the axles out. also you probably need that bus over a pit and use a transmission jack to handle the weight of the pumpkin. those things are very heavy, some up to 1000lbs and dangerous to try to do on a floor or driveway. we do ours over a pit and they are still hard to manage.
