I'm just finishing my generator trailer (with lots of storage space) to power some goodies at Burning Man, that I'll be towing with the bus. The bus and trailer will be so far apart when we get settled there that I want to toss a little cheap portable pottie in the trailer for emergencies. Anyone know the good ones and the bad ones? Just a simple portable one that will hang in there for a week and a half... |

The brand escapes me at the moment but I have one I got at WalMart for those fishing/tenting trips. Just put chemical in the base. No muss no fuss. Just empty the base when it starts filling up or when the cabbage and ham dinner you ate the night before starts fermenting.... It actually work very well for it's purpose. |

Do not laugh toos much but this worked for me for over 3 years. Go down to the local building supply outfit and buy a cheap wood toilet bowl top and a 4 or 5 gallon plastic bucket with a lid. Then goes down to the local store and buy a package of the 13 to 16 gallon white trash can bags and a small sack of cat litter. Yeah. Triple bag the bucket and set the toilet bowl top on top of it. Good luck. |
