HI

I have just installed Peninsula Glass's drivers and door windows in my bus. However the instructions for installing the angle piece to cover the gap are not very clear. Of course this is Saturday and now one is available at Peninsula to talk with. Has anyone installed these windows on their buses and how did you cover the gap? I have a couple of ideas but would like to have some other input.

Thanks

Rod,
You take the plain "L" shapped angle, cut it to match the height of the door frame gap. Looking from the outside, position the angle with one edge facing forward and the other edge facing inward, butt it ( the flat side)up next to the new window frame, rivit it to the door frame and your done. This acts both as a trim peice and as a gap cover. The rear flat edge buts up against the seal. You can fill the gap with any type of insulation or sealant if you prefer prior to riviting the angle angle in place.

I put 12 smoked Penninsula's down both sides of my 4104. They are a sinch to install, look fantastic and work great. I recommend them to any Bussnutt out there.

Best,

Hi, ANYONE, we are trying to get the old windows out of our 04 to install new Pinnensulas. Having a REAL problem getting the screws out of the hinges. Any ideas?? Or if anyone has done this before, any helpful hints are WELCOME!

We just recently took out windows out of our 4104.
If you stand in front of the bus and look at the window at the top you have a drip cap that covers the rest of the hinge to the window. This drip cap should run the intire lenght of your bus you need to remove this cover then you can see the whole hinge to get at the screws. we did not know this till our last window . My husband bouhgt a titanium drill bit big enough to drill the heads of the screws off this went much eaiser and it saves the hinge. the new windows fit very good once you get the old ones out. If you have any questions you can email me at my email address here. redhorse42@hotmail.com
