Anyone replaced their steel with aluminum lately? Was it any problem getting the longer studs?I think the wheels now are 3/4 of an inch thicker so do I just buy a stud that much longer? How much money do I have to ask my wife for?As always THANKS!

I remember someone saying that all new longer studs was $500 for the parts and then had to put them on still. Thats whats been keeping me away from aluminum wheels.

I found someone had the wrong lugs on my 4106 with alcoas while I was in Mobile. The tire company had the correct ones on hand and replaced them. I studs and nuts were not that expensive but I don't remember the cost, but I spent less that $100.00 for both rear duals.

The standard rear 1.5 inch standout studs will work fine if you use the special aluminum wheel inner nuts.

On the fronts the studs must be have at least 1.6 inches of stud standout to work.
