Anybody want to check out what's become an absolute monster of a page on RV electrical upgrades?

http://www.equalccw.com/hardcore.html

I'm looking for critiques/suggestions/complaints/etc. from people of every skill and experience level. When done it's going to be on the site for RV Doctor George in Sacramento (http://www.rvdoctorgeorge.com/) and will be part of their start towards supporting and installing such setups. But the info will be good regardless of whether or not you're George's customer.

Here's the index:

INDEX:

INTRODUCTION
Sample alternative energy supply vendors

THE CONCEPT IN GENERAL

BATTERIES
AC-POWERED BATTERY CHARGERS

INVERTERS
SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLERS

SOLAR PANELS

GENERATORS

Propane

Conventional Gas

Inverter Gas

Diesel

WIRING, METERS, FUSES/BREAKERS AND SAFETY

APPENDIX A: ENERGY CONSERVATION

Air conditioning

Refrigeration

Lighting

Insulation

---------------

One note: right now I don't have a map of a system whereby a 50amp connection is supplemented on just one side with an inverter doing 110v-only output. I know a LOT of people here on BNO are doing such things and since that's one type of critter I haven't looked at, input would be appreciated.

I also realize that my views on larger diesel gennies is purely "book learning" and may be off a bit, criticism there in particular very welcome.

I'm also not satisfied yet with the "insulation" section of the energy savings appendix.
