Unfortunatly for me, I am the owner. That's why we bought an MCI 8 and are in the process of converting it. |

Gee, when I go to the RV sales centers & tell them I want to convert a bus into an RV, they say all you have then is a bus. I have to agree. I will have a vehicle that has already 100,000+ miles on it. A large tank instead of a lighter RV. My father-in-law is a retired Virginia State Police Captain & he said the worst accidents he has ever worked was Motorhomes & Trailers. When they take a hit, they fall apart. They are not made to take a roll over let alone a broadside. Not that any of us what that either. Buses are made to run over a million miles. The exterior is made to protect the occupants inside. You can use real wood for the interior that is made to last. You can put in a bus what you want where you want it and it will probably outlast you, if you build it right. Look down the nose, RV super stores, I want a bus! |

The RV dealers and superstores don't much like Bus folk as we seldom change vehicles every couple of years.{WE don't HAVE to!} Since many do our own converting , and all have an information network , we don't spend as much as mom& pop wynnibuggy. AND we show up mostly on the sales , as we can wait to purchase most stuff. Toss in our ability to be happy with something used, at a really low price , or change RV junk for something good not from the RV store, and you can see why they don't embrace our hobby. FAST FRED |
