Hello busnuts.

One of the trade publications, BusRide magazine, also publishes an annual Bus Garage Index.

The index is a comprehensive listing of bus service facilities across the United States and Canada, detailing what service is offered, payment methods, driving directions and contact info. More than 1750 places. It is the size of a small telephone book.

A great resource to have, if you run into trouble on the road, and need to know who is local that might be able to help.

The 2005 books are closing out at $20 plus shipping.

Find the link at the bottom of their home page:

This note is intended as a service to those of us who need the assistance of a mechanic when things break out on the road, not a sales pitch for the book!

Hello again,

There is a telephone number to order it also, if you don't like doing online purchasing:

1-800-541-2670

Shipping is $5 to USA, $10 to Canada.

I found the e-mail that I had lost with the rest of the details....

If they want exposure they could and should advertise with I@N not have postings under the guise of information.

Yeah, BW, what Connel said! Geez!!

Thanks Connel.

Hey BW, send a wee note to those 1,750 businesses and tell them where we are, hokay? Thanks, buddy. Let's see... 1,750 x US$199./yr = US$348,250./yr. Uh, BW... could you hurry that process up a bit? 10% finder's fee for you if you sign them all, my friend.

Wasn't that the same outfit that caused a stir a while back about advertising on MAK's board but acting like jerks about actually paying for ad space???

Maybe it was the "Other" one...

Besides they are "commercial" anyway that caters to the tour industry.

Regardless of Connel's comments, I've had a copy of the Index for over 25 years - used to carry it with me on charter runs. I buy a new one every other year. Has other vendor sources in it, too. Very handy, file it next to the parts book in the coach.

Aw man....

Put a public flogging on the agenda for Jack's party.

After the UPS called today for some sort of customs clearance....$$$$

Maybe I'll revise my glowing recommendation: great book, but the publisher doesn't know nothin' about shipping properly to Canada.

happy coaching!

We paid full price earlier this year and it was worth every penny.
