Hello fellow bus nuts.

I live in Fresno, California. I have owned and driven a Crown with a 220, two Gilligs with (anemic) 180 Cummins, and now currently drive a 1970 Gillig with CAT power. I've also rebuilt a 180 Cummins, and an 1160 CAT, and a couple of small motors. I have a good metal shop in my house, and like working with machinery.

I love buses, and believe it or not usually enjoy getting under them or tearing them apart as long as I'm not on a deadline.

If anyone would like to start a (lazy, informal) bus club, maybe we could meet and share lies about our buses, and learn some things from each other, and (hoepfully) drink at least some beer,
although I guess that wouldn't be mandatory, especially since we'll all be driving buses after the meeting :-) :-(

Ok dumb idea, but the original one remains. If anybody is interested send me an email, and I will help to get the thing going. I already know one guy in Merced who has a bunch of buses, including a 60 foot articulated MAN from Germany, formerly with San Francisco Transit.

Hapy bussin'

Western Bus Nuts is a chapter of FMCA and can probably be found somewhere within their website. I can't find my membership list right now, but they shouldn't be hard to find.
