Recently I got the power mirror system from a 1990 Mercury Cougar to use as a platform for my rear view mirror. Unfortunately it came with the wires chopped on instead of unplugged. Does anyone out there know where I can find a wiring diagram online? I've tried Googling but was buried in entrys. TIA Dale |

good idea...adjustable camera...I know a diagram would be neat...but ,you have a wire for 'up' one for down, one for left one for right...I'd be more worried about getting the switch...hope you got it with the purchase |

Try your local county library. They usually have auto reference manuals. Chilton, Mitchell, Haynes, etc. Cheers...JJ |

I would guess four wires total, two sets of two. Reversing the power to one set would reverse the direction of movement. The same for the other set. An ohmmeter should identify which two go together to make one set. Richard |

usually 3 wires . up/down motor & left/right motor common are tied together . up/down motor input . left/right motor input to run the motor in reverse they switch polarity with the common and the input I have a diagram if you want to wired up an original auto mirror type switch I'll be using a nice looking Ford probe remote mirror switch to control my campsite leveling system - instead of bulky rocker switches - left mirror/right mirror switch selects up or down and the lever selects the corner or (corners) i wish to adjust Pete RTS/daytona P.S. I sell the leveling system soleniods packages you provide the dash switches Each fully assembled and mounted corner/point system contains 3 soleniods .Auto/manual (selects auto ride adjust or manual) .manual raise .manual lower .optional - remote manual scharder valve .pressure gauge port (electrical or pneumatic) for 3 point or 4 point leveling systems $120 per point - regular $150 per point to combine airbags (older RTSes) have them now and for Arcadia Pete RTs/Daytona |

Thanks Pete. I have never seen the diagram. I suspected the two commons could be tied together but was not sure. Richard |
