Is anyone in central to north Florida really good at fixing jake brakes on busses? Ours seem very weak.

See Steve at Florida Detroit/Allison in Ocala. 352-237-4566. He is the service manager and a GREAT guy. He installed our Jakes in Jan 01 and has gone out of his way to get us parts several times. They also have a branch in Jacksonville.Vernams in Ocala can adjust Jakes but they will always take in truckers first and formost. good luck, Dave

What knd of engine do you have? It is my understanding that the jake brakes have to be different for different engnes. Is this right or wrong?
