I am trying to remove the drip rails on my 4014 and cant quiet figure out how to do it without bending the $#!+ out of it. Any tips would be appreciated and thanks a lot for all the knollage and experiance you vetrins contribute to us newbees. |

I just took mine off, bent the $#!+ taking it off, found it wasn't needed in the first place. Made a drip deflector to go over the door only. |

first you need to remove any screws. there's maybe 4 or 5 in each section. then get a thin, flat prybar and slide it under the bottom edge of the rail. there's a clip about every 16 inches. put a little downward pressure on the rail then pop it off with the prybar.get as close to the clip as possable. the trim under the windows comes off the same way. Thanks a lot Bob that sounds a lot like what I expected. I was hopping for some secret Kung-foo way of getting them off, but alas if wishes were wings pigs could fly. Think I'll be finding me a pry bar... and thanks again. |
