can anyone tell me a filter make and part number for a dry air cleaner element that will fit in, and replace the existing oil bath elements on a
MC5?

Bruce Try K&N Filthers. There is a add inFMCA mag. They are expensive. They are supposed to be better, but I don't know. If you keep your oil bath serviced I believe it will do a better job. I put a vaccume gage on my MC8 and there was no vaccume at all. D.D. says the oil bath is the best.Just my 2 cents worth.

I agree with earl. The only reason oil bath air cleaners went out of favour was 1. no one likes to do the maintenance and 2. no one DID the maintenance. The oil bath gets it all - and unless you drive many many miles each year, a once-a-year cleaning does not seem to me to be all that bad. Plus, I can use the X-tra money for other improvments on my MCI5A.
