I had emailed Jock about an electrical concern the other day, and recieved this response from, Kay, Jock's wife- chuck- I'm sorry to have to tell you that Jock passed away last February. I don't know anything about electrics, so can't help. He had been fighting cancer for some 13 years and it finally got too much.I am trying to sell his bus, if you know anyone interested in an MCI 5 with perfect electronics. Kay Jock had beed a great help to me, as well as many others. He was true bus-nut, willing to share his expertise and encouragement. There wasn't a stupid question to Jock. (thank goodness!) He amswered all with the same grace and accuracy. I apologise if this is a repeat of previously posted information. I check this board (and have,pretty much daily) for the past 3 years, and wasn't aware of Jock's passing. He will be missed. | ||

Thanks Chuck for passing the information. As far as I know this is the first time the news of his passing has been posted. My condolences to his family. I am certain he will be sadly missed. Jock will be sadly missed on the boards also. He always had a good answer for technical questions Richard | ||

I am sorry to hear of Jock's passing. Jock was at Bussin' 2004 and took part in several seminars and a round table discussion. He had planned to return to Bussin' 2005, but was unable to due to health issues at that time. Jock will truly be missed. Not only was he a very helpful person on the BBs, he was a friend and truly a nice person that was a pleasure to just sit and visit with. My condolences to Kay and all their family. | ||
