My wife and I finally did it. After looking for a year and half. We brought home 1965 Silver Eagle. Its parked right next to the 87 wood framed show box ( motorhome). My wife is now referring to me as "the" busnut, what a rush.

So what happens now? Where do I start. Whats the best approach. Mechanical, outside, the inside?

Are their any busnuts in the Houston or surrounding area who would be open and available to show and share their ideas? Help. Maybe the Houston Chapter of Busnuts?

Hey there, Conrad....about 3 years ago, I was in your position...we had just purchased a 1975 Eagle 05/10....gave the seats to Lubbock ChristianUniv ( who has 3 eagles ) and then started out ripping the old floor out...then welded more supports to strengthen the floor..then installed 5/8 plywood floor. The fun is in doing it yourself....I am now installing a 13kw generator in a sound proof box and when I get that done...we will take our first trip in said machine.....hot dog!!!!!!

You will never have more fun than while working on your eagle....good luck!
