Has anybody ever heard of or used an inverter by a company called Dimensions Unlimited?

Yes - have put them in railroad cars a couple times. Very simple without a lot of options. Very robust, can take a lot of abuse. Sent one back to get fixed once when it got flooded, was happy with the support. Dimensions is a smaller company, you will need to talk to one of the sales guys for a price. They may or may not sell to you direct, depending on where you are. If/when I do a bus, I will be using a Dimension.

Simple and durable sounds like my kind of inverter. They are in a lot of utility company trucks. I am hopeing to be able to get one used for a resonable price when the time comes.
