My PD4106 was converted in 1980. I do not have any info on the conversion and the original owner is dead. I cannot locate the wet air tanks. I have been told they are located behind the left rear duals, but cannot locate there. The original coach diagrams show the wet and dry tanks somewhere in the center of the coach. I suspect they may be covered with bulkheads added during coversion and are hiding them. I have had the coach for over a year and really am worried about the wet air tank not being drained during that time. I wonder if perhaps the person who converted the coach (it was a class a job) was smart enough to install an automatic dryer or dipersion device, but don't know for sure. any clues? thankyou |

The wet tank is in between the front wheels and has a drain on the bottom. Forward of that is a dry tank. Also drain the tank that is in the compartment under the drivers. Fred Mc. Pd4106 |

There is also a valve to drain just after the compressor muffler , 1/4 turn to release. There are actually 3 wet tanks foward. Two are drained from under , the third is drained with a valve in the compartment under the drivers seat. At about $8.00 for the pull chain conversion , it is the best $16 you will ever spend. Draining every day , or whenever you wish is very easy. Be sure you have the alcohol jar for winter operation filled with brake alcohol before driving in freezing weather.AT Any truck stop.
