I am planning to replace the two entrance doors on my (new) 1983 eagle 10. By a single door. Just got it home from florida.
I plan to use the same window as the drivers side. Which I can buy. Will that window fit the entrance opening when I fabricate the new door? Or am I just not thinking straight. We are really newbys as we have never converted anything. So If this question is not out of line we could use a little information. Thanks.

Hi John;
I have a Silver Eagle 01 that needs the same kind of door treatment. Theres a real good article on making a one piece door from the existing pair. You can find it on RV-Coach on line. when you get to the site, click on buses. {www.rv-coach.com/buses/galey1.html} Hope this helps. I've had my bus about three monthes, and at the rate things are going, its going to be years befor its finished.I'm still working on rust repair around the roof areas. I bought a cap off a series 10 to change the look to more modern.

I have a eagle bus that has a one piece door but does not have any kind a seal around the frame or door. I need to know what I can do here to seal up this problem. How are the others doing this?Thanks. dbohanno@yahoo.com |
