under the dash in my 5c tnhere is a swith w/ 3 wires going to it. it sits behind the door opener. when the door is open or closed there is nothing to push this switch in to activate the air door lock. 2 questions
1- am i missing some bracket to activate this pushbutton switch?
2- i may want to put this switch on a toggle so which wires do i connect?

You may wish to post your question on the MCI Yahoo bus site. Lots of MC5 folk there.
You may be able to sort the switch out by assuming that one of the switch wires is a hot wire. The others may turn on step lights and and door airlock. Once you figure out which is the hot wire, mark all three, remove the switch and check for continuity to see what terminal is open and closed together. Should be able to sort it out. Most later coaches have the airlock on the side control panel. That's where my MC9 lock is located. The step lights should be on a separate switch in a motorhome. Good luck, JR
