Hello all does anybody make a door for the radiator door for the 8 or any other options. Have a new R&M already on when purchased but no hole for the door! Also the bus was skinned with semi roofing on the sides after raised,in preparation for another skin over it,whew! anyway, any suggestions ondouble skinning over this skin to cover the the "freindly" skin (doing the wave). Thought about shimming out past the rivets with 1/8 inch alum. strap then gluing the new skin over it with rivets under the drip rails and under the trim.Any thoughts etc.? Thanks in advance! Sounds like you have gone a bit overboard there. Hey why not Kevlar and make it bullet resistant too? Just kidding... If your first skin is starting to wave you may want to reconsider trying to cover it up and just pull it off and reskin with a better material less prone to warping or waving. Sounds like who-so-ever put that one on didn't pre-stretch the metal or did it on a cold day. As for the door? Hmmm.. They didn't leave access to the blower area? Very bad... Good luck.. You may need to do some cutting and fabrication to fix that even if you do find a door. |

In that case, Hmmmm.. You may be able to use an electronic stud finder to locate the metal ring and then use a body saw to cut out the opening in the new cap. Just a thought... |
