Come to Lakeland and see my Doc. He and his staff does missionary work overseas somewhere every year and I know from experience he doesn't hurt one bit or I wouldn't be going there! :-)

Give him a call and tell him I sent you! He knows me pretty well by now because back when I first started going to him, I didn't have insurance and I told him right up front that if he hurt me, he wouldn't get paid. He laughed and said he had nothing to worry about! He was right, and he DID get paid. Now the insurance pays him!
He also does specialty work of all kinds.

Dr Kenneth L.Mundy DDS
4326 Highland Park Dr.
Lakeland, Fl. 33813

863/644-6418

Hope this helps!

That might be POLK CITY your talking about! If so, they are REAL close, only about 10 miles.

If they need help finding his office, let me know. I could meet up with them and show them the way!

Mexico is still the right place. Dentist wanted $38,000 for the wife dental work, got it and more done in Mexico for a few hundred. Probably better work too. A bus friend from Tampa Fla area flew here, rented a car, had the work done and flew back. Savings was just about $10,000 for it all over local dentists.

They can make up their own DIY kit from here and here,
or buy a complete kit here!

(I mean.... they are "inlaws", right?)

In all seriousness Jerry, the dentistry schools can provide the
very best of service for practically -0- charges!

See: http://www.dent.unc.edu/ , or a search here.

Not all in-laws are miserable people. I've met many other people's in-laws I've liked.

We have been getting work done in Mexico for years. We winter in Yuma so doing so makes it easy. Head over to Algodones (yup, some place where they paint buses) and save a bundle. You will pay for the trip and have a good vacation as well. (if you can call getting teeth work done fun.) If they do decide to come we can give them the name of a good dentist.

At Dr. Parra's office in Algodones, the wife and I paid $875 for what would have been $3000 or more up here. As Ace reminds us, they didn't hurt us or our pocket book, but a $1550 root canal and crown up here two years ago hurt both the wife and the bank acount!
This was in October. I think that in January & February the prices may go up due to demand. If they're tough enough to go in summer, it's probably even cheaper.
Enjoyed our stay at Pilot Knob RV Park for four days as well, Passport America, $60.

I f you want to travel a little farther and are a bit adventourous. Thailand (1st choice) and the Philippines are second to none for dental care and surgury. A bit farther but even cheaper than Mexico. The problem is that people that go there to have thier teeth done, fall in love with the place and do not come back!!!

I'll be in the Philippines by the 12th of NOv. email me for further info.

I would love a one way ticket for my mother-in-law. It does not have to be a nice place like Thailand, Iraq will do. :-)
