OK, OK, if you all will oblige me just one more mention of Veteran’s Day ’05, then I can get back to bus talk…

My family went with my Dad-in-law and his wife to the Vet’s Day Parade downtown this morning (at 11:11am) and I took a bunch of pics and a few videos with my digital camera.

I assembled them into a short video to honor him and all Vets.

It’s slightly less than 4 minutes, 19.3MB, WMV9 format: http://www.brownland.org/veterans05/vetsday05.wmv

Thanks again, Vets!

Thanks Brian, very touching. Since our town is too small to have a parade this is the only one I got to see.

This looks like Longmont, CO. My father was born and raised there. Served in WWII.

Thanks,

David

David, it is indeed. Is your father still alive? If so, does he still live here?

Longmont has 70,000+ now. It was just a small farming community when your father was growing up.

Wow, small world!

Thanks,
bb

Well Brian, seems like they have changed the street since I lived there, used to be you could park at an angle down the middle of the street back in 1960 when I lived there after I got out of the service. I was in the service when nobody cared about the service men and looked down on them and didn't want to have much to do with them. Even the VFW and the AL didn't want us in their groups, still enjoyed the parades but still feel left out hehehe. thanks for the Video Randall
