I am going to add a fuel gage to my MC8 coach. I removed a gage and sending unit from a used bus. Question is there a resistor or anything in the wireing system that has to be installed. I now have the fuel light and want to change it.

If the gauge and sending unit came out of a 24 volt bus, you should be OK. If it came out of a 12 volt bus, you will need a resistor OR power it from your house batteries. I do not know what value resistor you will need, but International Bs sells a one gauge resistor. Hope this helps, Jack

I got a replacement dash gauge and new sending unit for my RTS. I got mine from Luke @ US Coach. The sending unit was an updated model. It works perfectly. May ask Luke for assistance. It worked for me!
