I am placing an air-cooled two cylinder diesel genset in the driver
side first bay of my MC9. I would like some input on ventilation
considerations, and design ideas for the slide out. It have seen some
that swing out. The total dry weight is approximately 575 lbs.

Thanks, those are good ideas. I am looking to place the genny in length ways. The middle cover prevents from placing the unit side to side. I will look at Fred's ideas and wait to see if anyone has some more ideas.
