Hello All: I am rather new to bus conveting. I have had my bus, a 1977 MCI-8 since Febuary 2004. I have it totally livable, and right now three fourths finished inside. Not to bad for a WOMAN right?.I have learned so much about my bus. I have done everything myself thanks to Bus conversions mag., and bus nuts online. I read your questions and answers every day and I have one question... In the book the power steering oil that MCI says to use is 10W MS designation. Is this just standard 10W motor oil? or something special. Also where do I find it. Thanking you in advance for a reply.

Hey Calli,
Welcome aboard. The MS is the way to tell to what severity you can use that particular oil. Right on the can it will always give you this "code". that code will be in 2 letters like MS SJ SH. The later of the two are for automotive use. The code will usually be in the SAE circle with the code included in that circle
I'll bet you will find it at any auto store
