I am rewiring the lighting on my 4106 and I have put in a switch and a relay for fog lights, and landing lights for the rear of the bus. My question, What are your personal experiences with the newer type of lights that are on the market? What type would be best for the adverse weather? Round or Rectangle, (I like the rectangle so they fit in the cut outs on the bumper) Old style yellow, Xenon, Quartz, Halogen, Projector? What about the best for the back up lights, i'm guessing a flood type running light, but any experience good or bad with any certain brand or type? Thanks JIm Callaghan 4106 Wisconsin |

The type of light is not too important, but I recommend you get European code lights for your driving lights... Literally, a night and day difference. |

Hella lights give some of the best lights for the lowest prices for the product. There's alot of junk out there, I've used PIAA on my bike as aux driving lights, but that was due to size and mounting issues. Try doing a google seach on HElla lights on jump to the tire rack, I've use the tire rack for car tires and have had good luck with their service. They once sent me the wrong tires, and reshipped the correct ones, and then had the UPS guy come to my house and pick up the wrong ones, great service. I'm planning on using the HELLA 8 inch lights for my driving lights (55 watts) and go with 85 watt high beam's. david GMC4016 |

I have the round hella's in my 71 Mustang. Run relays and good wire. They are great lights. |
