help please, i still have this sick running racetruck. i have checked all the wiring out and i have cleared all the codes and it still doesnt rev up properly.so i removed the main connectors to the ecm looking for damaged pins etc and noticed that cable no 908 on j3 is missing,the connector is still in the terminal block
could any body please tell me what actuator no1 does and what signal is j3 looking for ?

Keith, I might be able to get you part way towards identifying the circuit. On a DDEC III the 908 is also at cavity J3. It is listed as “PWM OUT #1”. PWM means pulse width modulated. In the wiring diagrams it is show in an area called “miscellaneous”.
I looked in various manuals that I have and can find no reference as to what PWM #1 is used for.
