Airless -

Very interesting article, thanks for sharing.

Are you working thru both computerrepair and nationwide?

How's your better half doing? Is she getting to the point where she'll be able to get back into it, or is she deciding on another path, since the article seems to indicate you're doing well.

I am very thankful for everyone here at Busnuts and the help all have provided. You folks really amaze me your generosity and compassion should be reflected across the nation. If it was spread out we would not have any of the problems that the nation faces. THANKS all.

Nationwidecomputertech.com I own. During my down time I had plenty of time to spend on the phone and research what I could do. The folks at Computerrepair have acted as my mentors and they offered to me assistance that I could not refuse. They have been working with me on the marketing of the website, helping with the google ads, and encouraging us to take what they do to the next level. The services they provide are mostly for corps, with my company they are able to expand out to the residental and small business world and have me at the helm to manage it.
Customers contact me anywhere they are in USA I find them a tech, guarantee the work, assure performance, screen the techs and matching up skill sets needed for the tasks the customer needs. All of this at a competitive rate that beats the geeks and nerds and offers higher quality of service.

What I basically do is take the fear out of the service.

(IAN if I need to pay you for a ad please let me know. Was not intedsd as such)

Don,

I was in a partnership a few years ago (two computer stores). When I read your story I could really feel your pain. After 9/11 we really took a hit, business bottomed out, and I ended up having to pass my half to someone else. Ultimately, it went out of business.

Is there an email address I can contact you at? my email is: warsaw at nctv dot com

I also can empathise with you. 9/11 did me in and I lost my company also.
I just read recently that SBA had some program after 9/11 and provided millions of dollars to companies like mine but unfortunately I was not aware of it.

Airless, what an opportunity to turn catastrophe into opportunity. Hope you get a lot of mileage out of the FORTUNE article. You can't buy that kind of exposure.

All the best in rebuilding a business and a life.

Airless, I am a news junkie and yet I missed your story on Fox. I always miss the good stories.

I got laid off my first tech job because of the Columbine HS shooting. The store I worked at was just down the road from the school. Business slowed down to a crawl after that.

I just caught it one time... First on Fox then I finished and was flipping and it was on CBS. Cnn was there one day when I came back in but I did not speak with them. They had been waiting for us to return and just packed up when we saw them pulling out.
