Is anyone off this board planning to be in Quartzsite in January? Our current plan is to leave the cold and snowy north about Jan 3 and arrive in Vegas a couple of days later, recover and then move onto the desert north of Q for the balance of January. We'll probably attend the SKP Chap 6 rally on Plamosa Rd but otherwise our plans are pretty flexible.

There will be a bunch of Western bus nuts on the south side of the interstate. You have to go west on the interstate from quartzite to the next exit to get on the road. we will be there on the last week of Jan

Check out The City Bus Cafe while you're there and let us know what it's like.

Gabby

Do I understand that you will be along the side of the interstate but west of town? Do I look for an exit west of the Love's exit or do I exit there and follow west along the south side of the interstate?

My wife and I will be there the 3rd- 5th of Feb. for the yearly bash of the Western GMs just east of Rice Ranch. I understand a large RV dealer has leased all of Rich Ranch north for the year. We might be there for the Good Sams mid Jan. also on Paloma road two miles off highway.>>>Dan 4106-1261

We plan to be there in our MCI 8 conversion. Hoping to find a vendor spot someplace, but since we're late in doing so, don't know if we can find anything available.

Bob: We will be missing QZ for the first time in 8 yrs. Staying back in Ontario. Will miss seeing Elmer and Marj. To get to the south frontage road west of QZ you have to go to exit 11 and backtrack. Access to the frontage road from the east (by Loves exit 17) has been blocked at the little bridge. There is also a free area if you take the road to Rainbow Acres. It will be on your right. Enjoy the sunshine. Bill VE3BXP
