We are considering towing our 88 Ranger 4X4 and want to check the weight and other specs. Anyone tow one of these?

Try cars.com
go to research
New & Used Car Buying Guides
and select make/year/model
on next page select style and read the specs

Take it to your local scrap metal yard (no pun intended), ask if they will weigh it for you on the scale that they weigh the scrap metal trucks with.Trucks come to the yard loaded, get weighed, dump off the metal, and get weighed again. That's how they know how big a load they brought to the yard.
