I don't need it now but will be needing it soon! Is there a source for it that can be ordered on-line or is there a national source that could be found locally? I'm thinking 2 inch wide would work for what I want to do and color doesn't matter. I have seen some called "bull dog" velcro but haven't been able to locate it. You needed a screwdriver to get it apart! Anyone else ever hear of it?

3M makes some stuff that would hold while I pulled myself up on a bracket stuck to a concrete wall. There was about 12" of the stuff on the bracket and at the time I weight about #200.

Whatever you end up with, I've found that if you have to glue it, using black neoprene wetsuit repair cement works miles better than any other adhesive including self-adhesive velcro.

You paint two layers on each surface, wait till it dries, and put it together. Magic. It's quite an amazing adhesive...

(NOT aquaseal, not urethane... what you want is black rubber cement... smelly as heck...
I use Trident lP-31 neoprene cement from the local dive shop with excellent result)
