Yes , BUT , when a coach is painted its usually only for a cause. Few classic owners go for the Shoebox look , unless they have to. If there is much damage to panels , dents , scratches or some genius removed the annodizing (to "polish" it) the usual is a couple of gallons of bondo and a few more of paint. Only use an "aircraft" grade stripper to not do further damage to the aluminum monocoque shell. FAST FRED |

Not always, my delivered to Hawaii 4905 bottom area was painted from the factory according to the build sheets. Not sure just why, always suspected the blowing salt water had something to do with it. Made life easy for me, I just repainted it to my color tastes. |

Morgan, It just takes money.....It depends on your plans. Fred & Don have some good information. If you are trying to make it into an instant "classic". You could do like Pat McNeal did with his SceniCruiser. He had us make polished stainless skins for the bottom. Everyone has a plan & a budget. That's what is so cool about these bus'. You can do so many different things. Rich 800-468-5287 |

About ten years ago I priced out new aluminum siding for a 4104 at $10,000, skins only. I don't even know if they are still available, the price and availability was from some place in Florida who's name I cannot begin to remember.... --Geoff '82 RTS AZ |
