I got a 98 gal fresh water tank and a 98 gal black/gray tank and all the fittings for $220.00 I know, I wanted seperate for black and grey but for the price this will do for now, I can always add another tank for black later. Then I went to Rv Surplus in Elkhart and got a waste gate and toilet flange and priced other things I'll need in the next 2 weeks. I left there and went to Gobles Mi. where I had some windows stored but only found 2 that I can posibly use. I have 18 or 19 days to raise the roof frame in windows, skin the bus, insulate, wire, level floor, put in a shower, toilet and plywood walls and ceiling. sell my 4905 and trailer. Oh put in propane tank and strip all of the useable stuff from the 4905. And do my gigs. |

John mc9 Watch the metal chips, sawdust and fur fly. It doesn't have to take a life time to convert a bus. just jump in and start doing it. long hours with little or no sleep. hopefully some help from friends. Watch the progress. Gary, try Tank Depot www.tankdepot.com for tanks. They are in RI but have plants all over and ship from those locations with correspondingly (lower)charges. HTH Dale MC8 |

Ron, I wish I had some of your magic. I've got at least 3000 man hours in mine & I didn't raise the roof or level the floor. I'm installing my kitchen counter today, once the sink and stove are in it I can finish the plumbing and LP system. By your deadline I'll have owned it 2 years, all systems will be complete and I'll be 'decorating' and improving. Regards Jerry 4107 1120 |
