I am back again a little calmer than yesterday but just as impressed at the buses I looked at again today. It took much time to set up and do my two seminars today which I hope was informative to those attending. It is tough being in the "Hot Seat" with most of your audience being experienced converters and feeling complete confidence in your statements. Everyone knows I can be reached at: busconverter101@aol.com for any further information I could not cover today. Please feel free to ask any time and what I have learned up to now will be please do share with you. We also had another seminar by Jim Shepherd on Fire Safety, use of fire extinguishers that he sells for our bus fire safety if needed. This was reall informational, actualy a must see and attend seminar when possible. Yesterday's post I did not do a very good job with all the names of the people converting the buses I mentioned. I will try and remedy that now. The "Space Shuttle" model 05 Eagle bus I mentioned was parked near the main gate that greets you is owned by Bill & Roberta Glenn from Delaware. They both have so much vision for the completion of their bus and as they tell you of future plans they make you want to roll up your sleeves and say: "Lets Kick some butt on this" and "Git R Done". You just know this bus will be talked about many years from today. See it when you can. Not too far from Bill & Roberta's bus is one of the most beautiful (1981) Prevost you can imagine. It is owned by Gilles & Carolyn Cote of Dorion, Que. Canada. This bus too just has to be seen by everyone, this little frenchman just amazed me with his conversion results that he did all by himself. By the way, I am French also!! He has a full ("34 foot pull out") on the left side of the bus that will knock your socks off. Every inch of this bus has been planned, there is a kitchen cupboard that has a secret compartment for storage that perhaps normally would be wasted but not by Gilles planning. I am sure this bus will be in magazines in the near future with the success of Gilles accomplishments. You can tell that Carolyn is proud of their Second Home for sure and made us feel welcome inside to share it. I mentioned yesterday about the 1978 model 05 eagle with the dual shinny exhaust stacks verticaly running up to the roof. I still did not get to meet them in person today to get their full name but on the window the bus is registered to: (Steve & Connie) called (Solar Bum's)!! I am sure no one stays behind this beast when on the road because of the toughness of the look, "One of the big Dogs" you might say. I got to meet with Dr. David & Mary Hartley after his arrival today and want to mention again that David is administrator for another Bus Nut bulletin board called: http://www.RvBus.net that you also can post questons and comments on like I seem to be doing more frequently. We were given one of the best barbecue suppers we have ever had, tonight, it was arranged by Jack & Paula Conrad and supported by many volunteers and friends of Jack & Paula. Everything went really smooth serving as many people as was there, it looked like 3-400 people perhaps, just guessing. I feel it only respectful to mention the caterers of this fine meal incase you live in their area and need some of the best food imaginable for a function you may have. The dinner was catered by: Craig Kimmel of www.firehousebbq.com from Orlando, FL. I wanted so bad to have a second plate no matter if I made myself sick it was that good but I didn't want to take advantage, but was tempted!! After dinner was done we were entertainted by (Crazy Carol, this was a Commedy / Musical) which was entertaining to say the least. I got to meet the band for tomorrow evenings entertainment, (Bus Stop Bluegrass Band). I just know if you like music in any way these guys would make you wish they would play all night. I am sorry to say we have to leave tomorrow in the afternoon for personal reasons and wish we didn't. My pallet is just not filled but I am so encouraged to hurry and get my Eagle roadworthy to continue going to these bus rally's, jammin music, eating and drinking, boasting, lying a little perhaps, but just relaxing in the atmosphere that only bus nuts can appreciate. Eric and anyone else wishing to see pictues of this (Bussin 2006) rally, pictures will be posted on BNO by Ian that I have taken, I believe he can make them more presentable with less problems than what I can and I will be sending them to him partially tonight and the rest tomorrow. Then it is up to Ian when to put them on the net for you to enjoy. Do not wait to attend one of these rally's until your bus is complete, make your bus safe and roadworthy, come to these rally's, try out your bus, see what you really need, get good ideas from others like Ace Rossi, Sonnie Gray and many of the usual posters on these bulletin boards. HAVE FUN!!. God willing, my bus will be roadworthy next year and I hope Jack can save me a spot for the "Rustless Money Pit". I can't wait. Respectfuly, Gary |

DaHHH!!!! I forgot my cable to download my pictures from my camera to the computer. I will attempt to get a new cable tomorrow but am sure Arcadia does not have a Radio Shack or Best Buy. Sorry for the mislead in previous post. Will forward all pictures possible to Ian ASAP. Sorry, Gary |

Gary if Arcadia don't have what you need, Port Charlotte is likely. Call them in Arcadia first otherwise 25 miles to P.C. WESTERN AUTO ASSOC STORE 863-494-4949 0.0 Miles 707 N BREVARD AVE or HYW 17 ARCADIA , FL 34266 ==== PORT CHARLOTTE-TAMIAMI 941-629-9726 25.6 Miles PORT CHARLOTTE TOWN CTR 1441 TAMIAMI TRAIL (#855) PORT CHARLOTTE , FL 33948 South on HYW 17 to right HYW 761 to left on 769 to right on Veteran Blvd (CVS or Walgreen drug on corner)...stay on until cross HYW 41(Tamiami) & Port Charlotte Mall on left. About 3 store east of inter Sear's mall entrance on left. About the highlight of the century is both Space Shuttle & beautiful beyond the dream is believe or not a well design & engineered 34’ slide-out with series 60 in shiny 1981 Prevost of the Cote family. When went around to photo slide-out….thinking like 14’ or so…..Whooooa…..Wow. I had to ask Giles how he reinforces this whole concept. Again wow…never dream anyone would pursue this project and drove always from Canada. G L A D, I was there to witness it. FWIW Sojourn for Christ, Jerry |

Gary, Great job on your reporting. I thought you did a real good job on your seminar and for being brave enough to stand up there amongst all the opinions. I was the first winner of one of your CD's and I would highly recommend it to everyone. Cliff |
