Probably from the same website:

The newest craze is POGS. What are they? The game of flipping ,Milkcaps has been played in Hawaii since the early 1932's. Milkcaps have ben played since the Predepression era. POG is an acronym for a 25 year old Hawaiian Tropical Juice, (Passion, Orange, Guava) produced by the famed Haeakala Dariy in Maui, Hawaii. The Haleakala Dairy produced a new brand name for milkcaps by plcaing the old tropical Juice name for POG on Authentic STANPAC milkcaps. POG Brand milkcaps soon became the number one choice for playing and collecting throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Milkcaps are the leading Industry in America.

BLOSSOM GALBISO "THE MOTHER OF POGS" On April 6, 1991 Blossom obtained 4 tubes of milkcovers from Haleakala Dairy. She experimented with the milkcaps using themin various lessons and activites with her students, The students enjoyed creating strategies for different games. But they were more interested in hearing stories told by Blossom about her childhood antics of trying to be the first one to open the milk bottle to lick the cream off the bottom of the cap. They would keep the cap to play in the Milkcover Game. Blossom stated " My students then played my old time Milkcover game, then ZAPP! something magical happened, the students were hooked. The Milkcap Revival Begun in Hawaii.

In September 1991, The students were so excited about the milkcap game, they were playing on sidewalks during recess, at the suggestion of another tacher Blossom contacted KITV, the local ABC Network Television station to extend an invitation to Rob Fukuzaki and Robert Kekaula to play the milkcover game on their program, "Games People Play, after reviewing the video by student council, Rob and Robert accepted the challenge, They palyed the milkcover game at The First Annual Milkcover Tournament held at the school March 17,1992, From these beginnings Milkcaps evolved. MILKCAP Q&A

WHO INVENTED POGS AND WHEN WAS IT FIRST TRADEMARKED? ON September 17, 1889, H.P. & S.I. Barnhart was issued a US patent Number 8. The milkcap Creation patent was purely for sellin gthe mouth of the milk bottles, currently reffred as POGS. They called them the Milk Lids. What is the right size for POGS and Slammers? Well there not an inch but rather 43mm or 1-21/32" or 1-5/8". Where was POGMANIA Born? Easy it started in Hawaii, POG is a acrynon for Passion, Orange, Guava, a Hawaiian Sun Juice that put its name on an Authentic Milkcover.

Jack is this guy Marvin Hasty the same one from here in Lakeland?

I knew what POG was here locally but was wondering about anyone else other than here! I kind of had a few words with this guy at the o6 bussin rally and now he wants to push his weight around! I never got his name then, as he was spitting in my face!

Thanks

IMHO, annual membership fee in POG is overpriced for what you get for your $100. At least membership in Prevost Prouds, $50/year, get me a $75 discount on my insurance. bill

Very colorful comments on the POG.

It was formed not only for the present owners of a Prevost, but for indepth information for the Wannabees that are looking for a future purchase.

There are pricing guides to many other discussions. You can easily save the hundred bucks from the hints you get from the expertise of many of the present owners.

Thank you very much for bringing it to the attention of the whole Bus Gang.

"Thank you very much for bringing it to the attention of the whole Bus Gang."

Lew it was ALL me man! I just wanted to get the word out to warn those that MIGHT be wanting to waste their money on how I was treated in Arcadia by the big man himself!

Also to those that ARE interested which very few probably are, I also wanted to get the word out that by speaking openly on the Prevost-stuff discussion board about this great leader, my postings AND my registration was deleted. You think that hurts me? Wrong, but think about this. It not only does what you claim which is grabbing attention of the whole bus gang, it also puts a red flag up on YOUR so called money hungry club for others to beware!!

Just call me MR. hemmeroid because being local, that's just what I intend to be!

You guys made your bed... sleep tight!

Thanks David! I don't get these guys. They want your money but they don't want your honest opinion. For speaking my opinion to the leader while in Arcadia during a rational discussion regarding the dues and future plans of this group, I got yelled at and spit on! THEN while visiting the groups BB, I got deleted for replying to a question about the group. Not only was the post deleted, they did away with my registration. I signed up under a new log-in and right away, the web master deleted my registration. I tried one more time using a 3rd email address and same thing happened within hours. I guess they just don't the truth to be told.
Let me say this to any and all prevost owners or other coach owners that condone THIS group and it's actions. You can have it, because if you approve of what they are doing and how they go about doing it, then you deserve each other! I won't waste my time or money!
They have the big head and NOW they have the reputation to go with it!

OK guys here it is! THIS you just have to see to believe! A NEW update to my picture site. This was sent to me from a fellow bus nut and he gave me full permission to do as I please with it. I'm thinking about doing some shirts to wear around the rallies and maybe even decals to hand out for your bus. Anyone interested?

I hesitate to come back with any comment because you guys have already decided that someone is treading on your territory, somehow.

You said you were spit on? I doubt it. But you are free to say you were because you want to.

I guess I could go on and on but you will still keep looking down that narrow alley.

I joined the converted coach group to learn some things about coaches in general. Guess I have found out more than I expected.

Hey Lew, Do you want to order a shirt or some decals?
Regarding being spit on? Remember, I was there, and Susan was sitting on the scooter seat right behind me. Niles, another Prevost H3 owner who frequents here was standing pretty close and involved in the same discussion as well. My FIRST words to this jerk after he lost it were, "First off pal, DON'T Ever get in my face again and if you EVER spit on me again, I'll personally pack you AND your bus up back to Polk County"!

Now Lew, you can doubt whatever you want about me being spit on because you can, but I wouldn't have said THOSE words IF it didn't happen but believe me, this WON'T go away until this jerk of a Jack--- appologizes publicly including on the Prevost Stuff site! That goes for the web master who eliminated my post and registration too. I didn't do anything wrong other than speak the way things happened. I Doubt any of this will take place so let the cards fall where they fall. Hey it's thier reputation, not mine! Almost everyone that knows me personally, and has met me knows me pretty good and knows I can kid around with the best of them but you don't have a conversation, loose your cool and just walk away after yelling and spitting in my face for NO apparent reason. I mean, it's not like I hit the guy or made fun of him, which I easily could, or did harm to his coach. I'm more man that that! I merely expressed my opinion (doesn't everyone have one) and concerns for the road he was taking this POG group. A road I expressed I could have helped in some ways, such as knowing people that have places large enough and cheap enough for some other POG rallies since he said he had a hard time finding ONE, or doing his shirts, which he also stated were NOT cheap, and that's the reason he only purchased 36 of them, and other ideas he mentioned that I KNEW I had resources for, etc.. He himself even said he needed and wanted people like me that knew a lot of other people that could help. He unexpectedly lost his cool when I made the comment about his group POSSIBLY turning into another Prevost Prouds. He totally surprised me with his behavior since we WERE, up to that point, having a pretty rational discussion. He can be sure of one thing, and that is, that Susan was sitting behind me on the scooter. I would have really hated to see what happened next if she weren't! So you see Lew, I KEPT "my" cool because I was in a place that I look forward to returning yearly where I have MANY friends! Friends so true that I would not stoop so low to embarrass them or myself! I bet this jerk wishes he had half the friends I've got. Maybe he would have acted a LOT differently and maybe that's why he was in the field!

The ball, as they say, is in Ya'lls court! :-)

Still Mr Roid....and taking orders! Thanks guys! Keep em coming!

Hey Lew -

"I joined the converted coach group to learn some things

That's what life's all about! It ain't nuttin' personal, so don't
go sweatin' the small stuff. On this forum, we're all friends.
Even if you own a Prevo... Well... Yeah, ok.. even if...

It really doesn't matter what you own, or how it looks, we're
all here to learn from each other. And like you've found out,
sometimes..... the education goes beyond the bus.
