I have a contain mounted on the right hanger in the engine bay, with copper lines running to the air compressor. I seem to remember that this was a winter thing for adding alcohol to the air in order to reduce ice. Coming back from Bussing 06, and found the container unscrewed for it's cap, and it was full of engine oil. Anybody know what's going on? PS, we had a great time at the rally, the wife wants to make it an annual thing. |

Sounds like a compressor leaking oil |

"A container" covers a lot of ground, but see Da' Book to see if it is original. Could be a "ping tank", which should be drained regularly. |

If its the glass jar , just empty and rinse it of old oil and remember to fill it with brake alcohol (from a truck place)before every trip with freezing weather. FAST FRED |

Actualy it's a metal can with, nothing in the book, that's why I asked. When I started draining the air comp at the rear, I would see alot of grey slop coming out, which I thought was oil water coming out of the comperssor. Lately just air with a little oil in it. |
