I just noticed that my copy of the current RV code, "NFPA 1192 Standard on Recreational Vehicles 2005 Edition" does not have the number "ANSI A119.2" on it. All the previous editions have had the ANSI number. In the past I have always bought my copy from RVIA, but this time I bought it from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). I would appreciate someone who bought theirs from RVIA checking the cover to see what number is on it. I was told well before the 2002 edition that the "A" and the decimal point were going to be eliminated, but they were still there on that edition. It appears that the whole ANSI designation is no longer current. George Myers |
